What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a system of medicine developed in the 18th century by Dr Samuel Hahnemann, which approaches good health in a holistic way – taking account of the whole person and not just the symptoms or ‘disease’. The fundamental principle is that ‘like cures like’ – leading us to select a remedy made from a natural substance which would usually produce the very symptoms being shown, but in a tiny dose which has been ‘potentised’ to be effective. A simple example might be that a homeopathic dose of Allium cepa (made from onions) could help someone who has watering eyes and a streaming nose – exactly the symptoms we experience when we chop an onion.

Classical homeopath Dr Asma Javaid (MARH), has been in private practice since 2006 treating patients across the sub-continent and the middle east, gathering a vast amount of experience in practice and research thus her international platform has allowed her an active clientele that spans Europe the sub-continent as well as the middle east, she later moved to the UK from Dubai in 2018 and continues to strive with her passion to support individuals and families.
Dr Asma JB is certified by the UK Council for Homeopathic Certification and is a Member of ARH as well as an Associate Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy. She graduated from the prestigious Noor Memorial Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital in Lahore attaining her Homeopathy degree in 2005, this led her to become a lecturer at the same institute teaching Physiology and Anatomy. She was also awarded for the best service in the field of Homeopathy at the Annual Convocation by the NCH Ministry of Health Govt of Pakistan. Her brilliance and strong belief in homeopathy have continued with her practice now based in Glasgow city. She is passionate about delivering the highest-quality care to her patients. She is known for her innovative methodologies, tailored to each patient's unique needs and with extensive experience and research from around the globe. All consultations normally last 45- 60 minutes. During the initial consultation I will aim to find out as much as possible about your condition including your lifestyle, your medical history and your family’s health. This will enable me to gain a good understanding of you as an individual. During the consultation do not hesitate to mention something that happened a long time ago or something that you consider to be unusual or irrelevant, no matter how small in detail. Do share with me as much as you can, as I will base my prescription and treatments on the analysis of all the factors which have contributed to your current discomfort, be it physical, emotional or spiritual.
